Frequent change in weather, extreme temperature change and high air humidity?
It is especially in Asia, South America or areas in Europe with problematic climate conditions (for example along the coast) where you encounter the same difficulties again and again, which makes it almost impossible to set up a pipe organ and keep it in excellent condition without having to constantly perform maintenance and tuning work.
The cause is primarily to be found in the climatic conditions. High air humidity, long periods of rain or other change of weather typical for the region like cold spells or permanent periods of draught are hard on the material.
Base on one of our current deliveries to a non-European country, we would like to show you how this issue can be dealt with.
Some years ago we delivered a digital organ with Kienle Resonator System to the Protestant church in Lima, the subtropical capital of Peru.

At that time, the contact was initiated by the German embassy that had heard about our delivery of a digital organ with Kienle Resonator System to Cairo, Egypt.
Due to the above-described problematic conditions, the pipe organ in Lima caused problems and additional maintenance costs for the church congregation time and again.
In the end, this pipe organ was not any good to play on anymore. So it became quickly clear that a digital organ with Kienle Resonator System is the perfect solution.
The neighboring Catholic congregation in Lima was struggling with the same problems. As it became evident that the digital organ we delivered with Kienle Resonator System had no problems coping with the local climate conditions, the responsible Catholic priest approached us too.
After a detailed planning phase, we finally delivered and installed a digital organ (sacral organ) with Kienle Resonator System in late summer 2008.
This project shows once again that a digital organ with Kienle Resonator System can be played maintenance-free and without any problems anywhere in the world everlastingly.
Our organs have been already set up in further regions with difficult climate conditions as for instance Murmansk, Sachalin Islands (Russia) or Johannesburg, Captown (South Africa), and delight the organists and the listeners likewise with their excellent sound.
